We are happy to announce that our colleague Emanuel Hecht, Microwaves and Radar Institute, received the Prof. Boerner Student Award at ESA's PolinSAR Workshop in Frascati (Rome) on 01 February 2019 for his paper entitled "Towards The Estimation Of Soil Parameters Under Agricultural Vegetation by means of PolInSAR Measurements". His co-authors are Alberto Alonso-Gonzalez, Kostas Papathanassiou and Irena Hajnsek. Congratulations from all colleagues, Emanuel!
